Just because…
We are culturally bombarded with images. All day long. We scroll them, are exposed to them. Most of us also, because of the convenience of having access to a camera at all times in our pockets, tend to document the days of our lives. Selfies, little snaps along the way. Most of us will say we aren’t exactly lacking in images in any way.

But a portrait session is different. And I don’t think that most of us think about giving ourselves the opportunity to capture us in our now, as told by an artist, in a deliberate and intentional way. I want to change that. I want to bring back the art of the true portrait. Not AI. Not just for milestones or teens or senior pictures. Just because.
