The speed of light
… wrapping up 2025
2025.

I can say a lot about it. But what I can say most simply is that it sped by. It flew. Like a train barreling down the tracks. Intent on carrying on to its destination no matter what is in its path.

Like all years, there was a little of this, a little of that. For me personally, it was a big year. I set out for it to be a more playful year, and while I did play hard, life on life’s terms meant lots of change, new growth, and some new awakenings that were not anticipated. And of course, collectively, this year, like many in recent past, we had a lot of “what. the. actual. f. is going on.” It was, truly, wild and unpredictable in that way.

December is a time to celebrate. The holidays, yes. But also, celebrate the closing of another year and all that it held. While 2025 was a year that was difficult to get hands and hearts around, there is always an opportunity to celebrate nonetheless; celebrate the changes made. The lesson learned. The resilience cultivated. The beautiful moments and bright spots that populate and permeate all years, no matter what is happening.

And so, as this year draws to a close and we enter into this time to celebrate, I want to celebrate you. And thank you. For following along. For taking the time to read these little notes. For being a part of my life.
…
…
As this year begins to wind down, wishing you peace, light, and a feeling of celebration.
Xoxo,
Gina
